Fall in love with Rome with me💘

The first time I visited Rome, I was astonished by its beauty. But obviously I knew where I needed to go. There are many things you can see in Rome but here is my top 5

1️⃣ The Colosseum was one of my favorite places, it's easily accessible by the metro 🚉 . Don't forget to buy your tickets online!! (For children under 18 it was only one euro!)

2️⃣ The second thing you really need to visit is Vatican City. Besides the St. Peter's Basilica, there's also a museum with it's grand history.

3️⃣ The trevi fountain was beautiful to see! Just make sure u visit it early in the morning (avoid Monday, Wednesday and Friday because of cleaning)

4️⃣ The Spanish Steps are also a must to see! In spring the flowers on the steps bloom beautifully

5️⃣ Lastly, I think piazza Venezia is severely underrated. Apart from the beautiful building it also has an amazing view, definitely worth to see for yourself!

Lyon is a city that I always drove through when going on vacation. The highway was busy and in general it seemed chaotic. I thought it was a boring city with nothing to offer.
.
But, I couldn't be more wrong!
It is an amazing city in which you can easily spend a few days or more. Belowe are some things that you should do:

1️⃣ Roman amphitheatre
Did you know Lyon was the capital of the Roman Gaul.

2️⃣ Shop in the centre of Lyon surrounded by beautiful buidlings. There are traditional markets, designer stores and much more!

3️⃣ The local cuisine is amazing. Around the Place the Republic are a lot of nice restaurants. Enjoy!

4️⃣ Did you know the rivers Rhône and Saône merge in Lyon. On a sunny day you can walk beautifully besides the river!

5️⃣ In the evening visit the historical landmarks. Most of them are lit up in the most amazing ways!

6️⃣ Visit the Notre-Dame de Fouvière and get a view over Lyon!

When I visited Strasbourg I didnt know ehat to expect. I thought it was just famous for the European Parliament. When I arrived I was amazed by the city. It was all very organized and clean and above that it had beautifull buildings.

Some things I advise to do are:
🔸️ Eat a Pretzel from @les3ptiscochons
I never liked Pretzels but those where amazing!

🔸️ Take a boat tour through the city!
This tip is mostly for people who only have one day. By boat you can see the whole citycenter with some very interesting history! It also shows you the European Parliament!
⚠️On busy days a lot of boats are sold out. Make sure to book it in time!
.
🔸️Eat a pizza next to the river!
In my opinion this should be a rule in cities with a river. We ate pizza at pizzeria Marco Polo, which served amazing pizzas!
⚠️ If you want to eat with a nice view of the river I advise you to make areservation
